Yes, you can log onto the standard third party site like Travelocity or Hotwire and find decent prices on hotel rooms, car rental, and airfare. The problem, as I see it, is that I’ve never found prices on those sites that get me excited. Yeah, it’s fine to save 5-10% and I’ll take it but where are the REALLY good deals?
